What's Your Budget?: Flower-inspired Jewelry
By Lauren CobleTuesday, May 26, 2009

Flower jewelry: it's literally everywhere. A trend that the likes of Dior, Chanel, Betsey Johnson and Marc Jacobs are all using in their new jewelry lines. Sure, some of their accessories might be out of your price range. Thankfully, less expensive stores have jumped on the bandwagon, too.
The yellow gold diamond Flower Ring by Di Modolo costs $7,500. I know - I can't afford that, but there are rings that emulate the style in all price ranges, so we can still get the look! The flower rings I found are all white and gold with rhinestone or crystal detailing.
The most expensive one is from Juicy Couture, it is 14 karat yellow gold and costs $88.00. Another flower ring rimmed with 14 karat gold and white enamel is from Marlyn Schiff's jewelry line, priced at $30.00. I love this ring; the petals look like hearts. How cute is that?
The cheapest ring is from Forever 21, they have a huge selection of jewelry, and at insanely afforadable prices - the ring I picked form there costs only $5.80. It has white and rhinestone encrusted petals, much like the Di Modolo Flower Ring. This ring totally doesn't look like it costs $5.80. What a great alternative to the Di Modolo!
Sometimes trends can be annoying, but I love this one. Flower jewelry is fun and adds a little extra flair to most outfits. After looking at what seemed like a million flower rings, I know I have to get one. All I need to do is count my pennies and see which one I can afford!
