Tired of big black shades? Ready to ditch your Wayfayers? If you're ready for the next big trend, then it's time to go round!

Oh yes: the new shape for eyewear this season is round. Think John Lennon in the '70s and Donna Martin in the '90s. Circular shades have been seen in several Spring and Resort lines, including Cynthia Rowley, Marc Jacobs and Proenza Schouler.

This new take on an old trend has some famous fans. Mary Kate Olsen and Nicole Ritchie love this look. Round shades look best on square and oblong-shaped faces. Big, bold frames are the most popular take on this look, but don't be afraid to go rimless.
