The Beauty Insider: Beauty Bargains - Eyes

The eyes have it when it comes to beauty bargains! This is one of my favorite ways to save on glamour and beauty. Your local drug store or super center can be a treasure trove of fantastic finds for your eyes.

Eye Shadows

First, let's talk shadows. Rimmel London has Colour Rush Trios and Quads that comes with three or four shades of a color. They look amazing and have great staying power. You can get 4 colors for under $7.00. At that price, you can get more than one!

Be sure to check some of the great brands at Target, featuring professional makeup artists JK Jemma Kidd and Sonia Kashuk. For $12.99, you can get Sonia Kashuk's Perfectly Neutral Eye Pallette that will give you so many options for eyes, day and night.

Liners

To draw attention to your eyes without spending a fortune, try Maybelline's Liquid Eye Liner. This easier to use, non-smudging liner will not break the bank at under $8.00. Another great way to save on eyeliner is to make double use of your shadow as eyeliner. This trick, used by top makeup artists, only requires that you invest in a great brush to apply. Try Sonia Kashuk's Synthetic Precision Eyeliner Brush $9.99 at Target or MAC Eye Liner Brush at $17.50. Just add water and your favorite shadow and you have more eyelining options than you know what to do with.

Mascara

One tried and true favorite of women of all ages is Maybelline Great Lash Mascara, priced under $5.00. This mascara has been on the market for decades and will be for decades more because it makes lashes look so lush. A newcomer favorite of mine in the past year is Cover Girl Lash Blast. It too is priced well, under $9.00, and makes my lashes look amazing. Best of all, I don't look like a raccoon because it doesn't smudge.

Eyelash Curler

One more thing to make you look like a million bucks without spending a fortune. Invest $12 in Tweezerman's Eyelash Curler. Use just before you apply your mascara to make your eyes look bright and lashes super long. This is a great tool that is a must-have!

Hope you enjoy these great beauty bargains for the eyes. I also hope you are feeling rich without paying a small fortune. Next week, we move to the cheeks and lips for more beauty bargains.
